Shell, a petrol and gas station is now digitizing and we have a hand in it! Take a glimpse at how we undertook a general process and transmogrified it into a procedure that belongs to the digital era simplifying it to an extent that it is congruous to a diverse horde!
The employees at shell followed a general outmoded procedure of manually filling out details such as their names and the bunk that they are stationed to along with other information. The process of writing this information led to several circumstances such as exhaustion of a substantial amount of time, irregularity in details, and misplacement of records. This conventional practise had to be substituted with a procedure that could tackle all this hassle, which could be achieved with a digital application only! Shell approached BRANI to design a system that could resolve these issues and create an application that can keep track of each employee’s record and solve the aforementioned issues along with several other | circumstances followed by it. We at BRANI endeavoured to fix these issues with our experience and skills with the aid of thorough analysis. We conceded that the manual paperwork is now a part of the employee’s muscle memory hence, it was crucial to generate an app design that is intuitive, user-friendly and enhances user experience. With our expertise in UI and UX, deciphered the layout of the app to replicate the layout of the paper, Presented many regional languages with regard to the diverse population for improved user interaction, simplified the app, and added a security feature. We also ensured that the employee could log out only after the process of filling out the online form was complete. |
After testing, the formulated app achieved to save 20 minutes of work hours of the shift managers! All this was accomplished by complying with the company guidelines and brand identity rules and standards.
